About Home-Start Cambridgeshire

Home-Start Cambridgeshire offers practical and emotional support to families from all backgrounds with at least one child under 5. We support families in local communities who are experiencing a range of challenges including poor mental / physical health, postnatal depression, bereavement, financial worries, isolation. We work with families to build on their strengths and give them the support they tell us they need. We provide support to families via our trained home visiting volunteers. Volunteers are matched with families and then usually visit once a week for 2 hours. Volunteers offer no judgement, just compassionate, confidential help and support. We are parents supporting other parents to be the best they can be, to give children the best start in life possible.
